Try this next time, fill up the tank and reset your mpg meters. Once you do this, go take your car for a 100 mile ride on a highway/freeway that has no stop and go traffic. See what you get then. Remember you get an average so if you do highway and city you will get different numbers especially if you are an aggressive driver.

Yes, I'm averaging 17.6 with mild driving habits and some rapid acceleration, also a lot of MM downshifting. 13-15 sounds about right for aggresive city driving. If you're implying that your car is messed up, no.

I have to admit I could not believe how poorly the MPG on this car was. But none the less I still like my G37S. Small price to pay.

Completely agree... Sucks, but its worth it... I see 14-15 with my aggressive driving habits in 100% city driving (I would say I'm aggressive 50% of the time).

I don't know if I trust the computer info on this car. A few times I have driven like 30 miles and it went from 67 miles left to like 62. Point being is that it didn't seem too calculate fuel usage accurately.

It calculates based on your driving habit, which probably changed when you took the 30 mile trip (i.e. you went from city to highway driving). It's supposed to be an estimate, not a precise value.

A computer is only as good as the person using it. The Est. Miles til Empty will increase as your driving habits improve. When you fill up its still using the Est. from the previous tank so if you hop on the highway and drive it will increase slightly over time. Again its just a reference and just like the Nav its only to help you out and not a substitute for common sense.

I know my car came with Nitrofill in the tires and that helps a weee bit on mpgs. I get about 20 mpgs with about a 50/50 mix of highway and city driving.

Nah that only helps the dealer make more money off of you by charging you $50 to put Nitro in your tires.
