As most of you know the Monthly giveaways havent been going very well.

Part of which have been getting products to give away, other of wich has been getting them sent out.. In theory it all sounds easy to handle but its not just ask anyonw who has helped getting the items sent out.

Now my question is would you guys be open to items such as Gift Certificates for various places and items such as ipods or things of that nature?

 

Personally I would be fine for things like that. I don't think the nature of what is given away really matters that much. Maybe I'm just not to picky about free stuff.

 

Since the site is about G's and that's what brings us all here, I like the idea of give-aways for our cars... Gift certs might be a good idea but personally I'd rather they be for vendors that sell products for Gs

That's the opinion I can give.

Understandable, I'll try and work some deals to get stuff for the cars.Just so you know 99% of the items before came from my stash of items left over from running strictlyz or that I brought back from Japan.

 

Right on - thanks for sharing your stash (my sedan clear side markers!). Like Trey's wife said, who can really complain about "free" (other than not winning )

I'm sure anything would be appreciated by all - but since you asked for feedback... Won’t some of the sponsors and vendors that add links donate certificates? Even if it's not a specific dollar amount, maybe a percentage off?.. that way they are making money and we get a deal

 

As long as there is the monthly give away. I don't think it matters. You can give away a free meal @ kfc and people would be happy with it. Its all about getting something for nothing.

 

I'm not fussy about free give-aways. Thanks for doing it.

 

I agree with what OCG35 says. But then again its free and its really cool that you guys even do something like that. So anything is fine with me.

Sure, it would be nice to always get G35 stuff... but

1) beggars can't be choosers
2) there are other things going on in life that a free gift cert may satisfy :-)

I like the idea of G. Certs from non, G35 places. I say go for it!

Free is free. The anticipation of the drawing and the ability to razz the winners is sufficient for me. Give away whatever you can scrounge up. Don't forget to check your attic and garage too.

 

That sounds good to me, as long as it wasn't a certificate for Jiffy Lube.

 

Gift certificates and other things are cool, its just fun to win free stuff!
