Dyno Tune - Uprev

Wassup guys. I was curious. I’ve got a 2010 g37 coupe that I use as a daily. What are your thoughts on adding test pipes and getting a tune? Is it worth it if the car is a daily or is it not recommended?
Thanks in advance.

Lots of posts with people asking similar questions. You won't see much improvement, if any at all, so its up to you if you want to waste the money. IMHO it's only worth it when you've made a few performance upgrades and ideally after you've done them all.

I already have a Stillen Gen 3 CAI and ARK catback exhaust. My car is ready for it. But I was just curious if it’s worth doing it if it’s a daily use car.

Sure, mine is a daily and I tuned it. May as well get as much out of it as I can. What are your concerns?

Just looking for recommendations. Should I be worried about anything. Is it a lot of stress being put in the whip as a daily.

Going with Uprev and Ecutek and pretty much the same if you are basic bolt on. A tune can change the way the throttle response feel so to me its very worth it. Find a reputable tuner in your area and you'll be good, regardless on what they tune. If you aren't close to any, a remote tune is just as good also. I was tuned on Uprev originally, but switched to Ecutek only because I plan to go flex fuel. I also daily my car.

Appreciate the input. My plan is to put on Berks test pipes and then go for the tune up.

One of the mechanics that I go to said, if you're all bolt on.. and daily. He recommends UPREV.. but if you're boosted he said Ecutek. I am all bolt on myself and I daily my car. Do you guys know how many maps Uprev offers? Was curious to see if theres gas saving map, race map... etc. I think Ecutek offers about 4 or 5 maps.

Your car should be running and performing better after a tune, sooo what are you worried about?

IMO ECUTEK us better hands down. I would only go ECUTEK. I'ms sure UPREV made some updates to their tune fields, but I left them long ago and am VERYVERY happy with Seb and ECUTEK
