Ecutek tune for 2010 6MT Sedan unavaiable?

I installed my EPS throttle bodies and 3" intakes last week and needed a tune, made an appointment for an Ecutek tune through Martin (R.S. Enthalpy). He said that for my year, model, and trim, he couldn't tune my ecu because Ecutek wasn't available. He made sure to check it multiple times and that's what Ecutek told him, he's going to have me plug up and send him the information on my ecu so Ecutek can do their thing.

Has anyone one here had there 2010 6MT Sedan tuned on Ecutek? I know I can't be the only one. For the time being, he tuned me on Uprev so I can drive my car.

A Side note, Martin mentioned he wasn't able to figure out the "rev hang" with EPS throttle bodies. I spoke with Eugene (Enthusiast Auto Care), and Moncef (Admin Tuning) and both say its in the tune and they can do it. Martin is a great guy, but for anyone who plans to install EPS throttle bodies, just go a head and have Eugene or Moncef tune your car. Martin is good and knows what he is doing with regards to tunes, just not with this particular mod.

Thanks.

I had my 09 ECUTEK tuned, granted it was an auto but not sure why that would matter. IT's possible they haven't seen that version of the ECU before. They will get it sorted out and you have your tune. When I did my 2011 I had to wait for a few days ECUTEK for the same reason

R/t tuning wasn't able to give my 2012 s sedan an ecutek tune. Had to settle for an uprev.

It makes me feel a bit better that I'm not the only one. Who was your tuner? The rev hang and rev surge is really annoying to drive in traffic. My tuner, Martin, said he has better luck with Ecutek in getting rid of the issue.

I'll send you my VIN in a bit to have a second verification.

R/T tuning in PA tuned my car. Don't get me wrong...my car runs great. The rev hang and rev surge usually only happens after a cold start though. But I would rather have an ECUTEK tune just because I know we can get more power outta the car.

So why not just switch to ecutek?

:/ Not sure what to say here since I have ECUTEK on my 2014 Q50. Maybe should have used a different tuner.

They couldn't. Something about not being able to unlock my ecu with ECUTEK. The only choice was to mail the ecu to ECUTEK but I didnt have time then...this was in the beginning of September. I'll prob do it in the spring though.

I'm flashing my ecu back to stock and getting my VIN registered with ECUtek tonight. I was told it should be a few days to have my VIN registered with them. Then I should be good to be tuned. We'll see how this goes. Sending my ecu in is not an option for me either.

I updated in my build thread about my flash on Uprev and moving to Ecutek.

Project Panda Uprev to Ecutek Update post

So at first I was told by three people my vin was not available through Ecutek, but a person from Ecutek says the ROM they received from me is already support on their latest version and I should try to update my software.

i realized that ID is for a 2010 AT, could Ecutek have seen that and just said it is available but the ROM I provided is for my 2010 6MT that they don’t have.
