Agreed! Wait until Hypertech can come back and clarify this situation.

From: Framingham Ma,
I know someone already said this but I had the same thing to me with the HT, I had a fully bolted MS3 and made 273WHP and 284WTRQ ( Dyno Jet), Then installed the HT and only made 284WHP 292WTRQ ( Same Dyno same day 20 minutes between runs)., So really did not make much more, But made peak power at a earlier RPM and held it longer.( They raised boost and held it longer, kept wastegate closed longer).

Then I went and got a ported and clip stock turbo and made horrible numbers 270WHP and 289WTRQ( Same dyno 2 weeks later), lost power big time at 4100 RPMS, Car started KR and pulling timing because the HT could not handle the add flow. With out he tune I almost made the same numbers as th HT with lower boost and EGT's.

Then went and got a real tune and made 291WHP and 312 WTRQ on a mustand Dyno.
So all in all the HT WILL ONYLY WORK on a STOCK car.. Once you start modding get a real tune or go back to the stock tune till you can get a real tune..

BTW the AF's where horrible way into the 10's over 5k..

Me?? there was no update, I was running the proper intake choice they had and they had no answer for me, Neither did they have answer for my when the HT fried my wife's ECU.. I never heard from them again. And yes made two phone calls and two emails to them and no reply.

Just saving for a Uprev tune now.

Did you ever get a response from HT regarding your previous issue?

Yea that is before. But losing power isnt possible. I havent taken my car to a dyno but compared to my buddies stock G37 6mt mine pulls on it all day long and I have the hypertech with a takeda intake ground wires and full exhaust

Hope you get the refund, then if your in the market for a programmer.....this might make you scratch your head and say WTF... Try the Bully dog GT gas tuner. More functions plus further advance and or retard timing, throttle sensitivity, no speed limiter......well you can set it to 180 but its very likely you'll never reach that unless you drive off a cliff and even then lol... you won't

At least get a cat-back first to avoid detonation. Either way, you'll at least have gains, roughly 9 with out exhaust.
