Let the good times roll! All intake and Intercooler piping is done (whew). Greddy intake Plenum and 4" Intercooler piping are off to polish. Exhaust and Downpipe fab work beginning. Should have pics of the oil cooler and radiator on today :

We went against the grain and put the intake piping OVER the intercooler piping:

Looks Like it's down to the wire. The car has to be in the booth by 8 PM tonight and hte intake manifold is not back from polishing yet. (will be back at the shop in the AM). So No dynos without the intake manifold.

Additionally, it is doubtful that any significant tuning will take place today since we are going to be pressed for time just getting the car running. I have spoken with my shop and they will take the car to HIN, show it and take it back to the shop to tuning the following week. So looks like Tuesday or Wednseday of next week is a more likely assessment of when I'll have numbers for it.

Your piping is gonna rub against the metal frame. Put a rubber gasket around the sharp edges of the frame. Just FYI

Yea i agree, Cut up a hose or somehting to cover up the edges. Once the motor torques you'll probably rub the piping against the frame. This happened to my previous car. You could always make the opening bigger or add brackets to the IC piping.

Almost done. The polished intake manifold is back on. I should have better pics of the exhaust soon. But The specs on it are 3" turbo elbows, 3" downpipe, 3.5" exhaust the rest of the way out.

Not feelin it bro. Single top mount would look better. Here's an example:

HKS T04Z? Maybe top mount HKS twins would look nicer but hey it's your car and I know you'll be showing of the eng and then things break and you'll have fix it yada yada yada.

Also the top mount manifolds (unless custom made) Have a terrible tendancy to crack. The Stock cast iron ones will hold up better. But at some point I would like to see a top mount set up done on this beast. But atthe end of the day 550 hp is 550 hp. I'll take you for a ride and we'll see what needs to change.
