I smoked a TT G on TX-183 yesterday in my Sedan loaner!!!

So I'm headed back to Grubbs to pick up my ride after they repaired the hood ding and there's a DG coupe with Volk's and exhaust just ahead of me on 183 going eastbound. Once traffic opened up a little I heard the BOV so I knew it was TT or SC ... so the next opportunity when traffic opened up I pulled up next to him, gave him the sign and I was off. He didn't have a chance, that '06 Sedan I was driving has some serious power!!

The funny thing is that before I went to Grubbs I stopped off and met a friend of mine that works for a traffic study firm. He was testing out a new LIDAR gun on side street off TX-121 and Mid-Cities Blvd. Gateway Blvd I think was the name of the street we were on that was behind a big apartment complex. My friend was doing a speed study to make recommendations to the city for what the speed limit on the street should be (4 lane median divided road). Next thing you know, the same TT G coupe comes blazing around the corner and roaches 2nd gear ... I grabbed the LIDAR gun and pegged him doing 56mph in a 30 zone He should expect a ticket in the mail soon! LOL

What a hero Jon. The Highway story is unfortunately true......Uh....Uh.....I missed 4th gear........The sun was in my eyes..........my car wasn't running right.......I have a boost leak........

But the traffic thing behind the apt. complex....I don't know how you knew about that but I definately saw those guys and I definately laid it down for them. It was sweet. If they send my a ticket it would be SO worth it. But for real......how'd you know?

Can you read Einstein??? That was ME and a buddy of mine sitting there ... he was in a gold cavalier and I had the black loaner G sedan sitting there!!!

We really had a LIDAR gun and we really clocked you at 56mph (in a 30mph zone ). I called your cell phone right after that and left you a message ... check your voicemail, you didn't answer!!

No friggn way. That's why they were pointing like little schoolgirls. LOL. That is classic! I was on my way to Ft. Worth to play in my soccer game and the guy with me was the guy who built the car originally. Small world. What are teh odds. So I think that speed limit needs to be about 60 or 70 so I can't get hunted down for that little episode!

Of course he did! didn't you read the story. I mean I got a late start, I couldn't hear the horn, the MREV motor just overtook me in the top end. There was nothing I could do!

I'm sure the folks at Grubbs are going to love to hear how you take care of their loan cars.

As will the Ft. Worth police, since you were actually clocked on radar and have admitted to you crime of speeding.

If you both turn your cars over to me this instant I will not RAT you out.

ROFL!!! Maybe you just need to own up to the fact that your G isn't as fast as you thought it was!!! Just imagine how bad of a beating it would have been if I was driving my car!?!?!!!
