It was mentioned to me by Robzone that was should try and get together again this weekend. For those who like to check their calendars and such that is the weekend of Feb. 18th and 19th. I am willing to set something up HOWEVER, the weather looks very cold and possibly rain on Saturday and Sunday. If you guys are die hard about this I will continue. If not I can put it off a week in hopes of warmth and sunshine. Any thoughts would be good. Additionally, if we put this off a week or so I will drop a line to our friends over at ZOS and Dallas Imports to see if we can have a good turn out. If you guys want to I can set something up during the day on Saturday at Velocity Performance in Addison. I imagine if I can get the word out about this early enough a Saturday Feb 25th meet at Velocity could work out real well. I have already contacted them and am awaiting a reply as to whether they will open up their parking lot to us that day. (I don't anticipate it being a problem, but no one wants a bunch of cars showing up to their place uninvited)

 

Velocity is having a meet with hemi trucks of all things next weekend. SO....it's either this weekend or the first weekend in March.......any opinions on this?

 

To all who are interested a meet at Velocity Performance in Addison is scheduled for this Saturday at noon. This meet has been posted to G35driver.com 350zos.com team16niss.org DFWCC.org and here. We are trying to have a lot of guys from each of the forums come out and have a good time and meet guys from different groups. So come out and support the Dallas import scene.

Why can't we get a break from the weatherman.

 

At least at Velocity we can run inside when we get too cold and/or wet. I also think that the rain is coming Saturday afternoon so we may be able to squeeze in an hour or 2 before it gets bad.

 

if I do not have anything happening, I may come with the Fire Truck.

ok...im thinking about 1st weekend in march.......weather seems not cooperative this weekend....and im going to San Antonio next weekend for the only import races in Texas this year......2 weeks should be good enuff word ahead of time to get as many people as possibe.....

 

I'm out of town the weekend of the 25th so I'll push for either this weekend or March 4 weekend.

 

We can round something up in March as well. THe meet is definately still on 4 or 5 forums already know about it so we can't back out of it now.

March sounds better. Looks like cool and wet for this weekend...though we need alot more of it.

 

Doubtful, There is a Sonic right next to them though. But I think it's more of a, they provide the space and that's about it. I think it will be a good time despite the weather. Let's all just hope that we get the best weather for what is given and have a good time.

 

Brad over at Velocity wants to get an estimate of how many hardcore G rides are going to brave the potential elements to be there this weekend.....SO, lets get a prelim head count (From the looks of things lots of people are going to brave the elements and get out there. It would be great for the G rides to represent. Josey, Jon, Rob, Hugh, C'mon guys let's show the Hondas and Nissans what real cars are.
