Cool The Eggmans G Unit Is Up For Grabs

I'll be buying a new G soon so the time has come to put my ride on the market. I normally don't keep a car as long as I have this one but she has been very good to me and I'm very proud of her. I have not advertised her on E-Bay or any other site yet but I will soon.

I plan to sell her as is with all the mods as a show car so it may not be priced for the faint of heart. I have over 90K invested in her and I will take the best offer over 60K. (so break open those piggy banks or dig up those coffee cans filled with money that you have buried in your back yard.)

Beautiful machine. I would still like to see her in person before she goes!

so I would suffice to say he is not necessarily getting out ... just getting something new! Maybe he's looking into picking up a sedan, after all that's all I ever saw him drive

I still thought he may actually be buying a sedan to drive around and keeping the coupe for a show machine. I believe I was mistaken.

Nothing is certain yet. I yes I plan on getting a 2007 Sedan when they are released this summer. I'm still not sure if I will get an 2007 Coupe next year or keep what I have. If I get an offer I can't refuse I will part with this car.

I will not be leaving the club.

I don't think you will get close to 60K for it, maybe 50K if you are very lucky. Don't get me wrong, the car is sweet (I have seen it at a few shows), but I have seen similar modded cars go between 40K and 50K. Any reasonable person that would buy the car would really have to be into modding their car, and I think they would say "I can buy a new G35 and put 25K into it, and have it the way I want it."

I know you have put a lot of work into it, at this point you may be better off keeping it (although if you do that you are sure to loose quite a bit when the new models do come out). Regardless, good luck, if someone does buy it, they will have a nice ride without having to do any of the work.

The only reason it may go for a little bit more of a premium would be the fact that it was on TV and in a few magazines. That will always help the resale some. It gives the buyer the ability to say "I own the car that was in (insert magazine or TV show here)." People would pay a premium for that.

We shall see. It will have to be the right person and someone who knows what it costs to get a car in this condition with this many goodies. If you start adding in all the goodies you could not build this car for under 90K.

I absolutely agree with both of you. Again, I hope it works out. If you do sell, will you mod your next car to the same extent as this one?

I really don't think so. I have so much stuff on this car I'm afraid to drive it. My fear is that some uninsured motorist will run into me and my insurance will sky rocket.

That's pretty funny, I never thought about that. I can see that it would be a valid concern. I guess I don't have to worry about that for a while, maybe when I buy my Farrari F430 (In 10 years!)....
