Arrive at 6PM for happy hour and dinner

Are we going to have problems getting a big table on a Friday night? Is there going to be any parking lot available?

Thursdays aren't normally an issue but most restaurants do a lot more business on Friday nights than Thurdsay...

 

This is true, we will have to play it by ear. I have had several members say that Thursday was not a good night because of work on Friday. I said I will give Friday night a shot for a while to see if we get a better turnout. I'm hoping that 6PM on Friday is early enough that the crowd will not be too bad.

We shall see....

 

I know it's early in the week but right now they are saying rain on Friday. If it does rain our meet will be changed to the following Friday Feb 17th same time and place. I will update this forum on Friday if the meet is postponed as well as send a mass e-mail to all members.

Well a gloomy start to this Friday ... although the ground was damp this morning my car stayed dry from home garage to work parking lot. The dallasnews.com weather forecast is not calling for a clearing until later in the evening along with very cool temps but other sites are saying rain mostly in the morning. I'm down either way if we're still on.

 

I'd show up regardless.

 

damn, i have a meeting with tcu alumni tonight at 6pm. i don't think i'll be able to make it tonight. sorry guys

 

It looks like it might just be the 3 of us tonight. I received a few emails from some other members that were going but said the cold temp and threat of rain tonight 40% chance has scared them off. Do you guys still want to meet at 6 for dinner?
