Do either of you have the part number for the custom upper intake pipe Injen made for the Vortech? Just seeing if they might have made any others or can make another.

From what I have been told, it is the only one of it's kind. It was made specifically for the Nissan Sport (formerly Sport Z) magazine article.

Randy said that after they made this intake peice, it was more work that it was worth in order to sell it as aftermarket so they only made the one.

I haven't heard of any others like it

Ha, ha. You know I asked the same thing about 6 months ago. I'm just glad you got that thing working...

From the looks of it, perhaps you could take a Fujita intake and make it work (I think the bends are about the same). The problem that you may run into is making your Richie bar clear the pipe. I have a 3/8" plenum spacer so it raises the intake pipe about that much and it hits the bar. Had to mess with the bar and intake pipe to make it not hit the pipe and make the bar not hit the hood at the same time. My guess, is that you may run into the same situation.

BTW, I saw your post on asking about the pulley part number. I actually replaced the middle pulley after I bought it used. It was the only one that had a clicking when I spun it. So I figured the bearings were shot. There was a bunch of dirt and dust when I took it apart.

So if you need to replace the pulleys you should probably replace the two pulleys to the left of the middle pulley and clean the middle one.

I replaced all 3 idler pulleys that are attached to the Vortech mounting bracket. I got them from NAPA but would have to dig up the part numbers. They were very cheap to replace iirc.

I already replaced the smooth pulley on the left along w/ the actualy tensioner pulley. I think I'll order the grooved pullies as well for backup.

Got my Walbro fuel pump, 440 injectors, 3.12 pulley, and Skunk2 spacer installed. Tonight I'm doing Titek test pipes.

I think I'm going to custom make an upper intake pipe along w/ a pipe to relocate the air filter to behind the front bumper.

don't tune it before you're finished doing the spacer, relocation of pipe, etc. Those will change the number (i.e. HP, A/F etc.)
