Consult 3 plus

Looking to get consult 3 plus. Wanted to see if anybody here knows of a reputable site that I can download consult 3 plus. Not looking for a free download ( although that would be great) just want to not waste money on a scam site or one that doesn’t work. I found a bunch of sites that have it but most look kinda sketchy. So if you’ve downloaded/bought consult 3 and it worked for you please message and let me know where you got it. Thanks in advance.

The software is relatively easy enough to find. However, it is not as simple as downloading software to your laptop and running with it. You need the hardware- herein "Vehicle Interface" or VI- to connect the laptop to the car. This will cost you $$$ (even if you find a used unit of eBay).

There were some Chinese "knockoffs/ clones" from cnautotool.com that worked but I think they've discontinued C3/C3+. To my understanding, Nissan was transitioning to Consult4 (C4) but with their continuing struggles it appears C3+ will be here for a while. That said, a brief internet search shows plenty of VI's for sale- even Amazon - which you can try just ensure the seller is reputable and returns are accepted.

eBay will likely be your best bet as these units get listed occasionally. Many sellers that sell the hardware will also provide a download link for the software.

Edited to add: Unless you absolutely need C3/C3+ there plenty of tools that should work for most users. Foxwell seems to be a popular choice though I have no direct experience/ knowledge working with same. I was looking at the Foxwell NT530 to get both Nissan C3+ and BMW EDIABAS (on one tool) but due to BMW's "refusal" to cooperate with the EU's "Right to Repair" laws the software, from Foxwell, was pulled under threat of litigation.

Again, depending on what you need and why, options are out there.

What are you looking to use the software for? Need to ask since you have 2 posts and the same software can be leveraged to steal Nissans.
