Good afternoon guys,

Anyone ever take a K&N Typhoon Short-Ram intake from 08+ G37/370Z and convert it to a cold air setup by extending the piping and putting the filters behind the grille?

I really don't feel like spending another $400 on another CAI setup when I can probably convert this setup for probably $100.

I saw a video once of someone doing this and I can't find it! Suggestions welcome!

 

you're best option i think wouldbe to buy a set of intercooler piping and use it to extend it out to the grill area.
