Brake fluid question for the pros.

Hi, I will start this week to work on my g37s, transmission, rear and engine oil change, as well as rotors and brake pads on all four wheels,

Only one thing I'm missing the type of brake fluid I should buy, (will do a brake bleed and new to this type of car) went to autozone and they gave me a AVOLINE DOT 3&4...?
Some how I'm skeptical on this... Any pro can chime in and tell me which brake fluid to get, so I can order it from Amazon also I need power steering fluid type,
Sorry if this have been asked looked everywhere and couldn't find a similar post.. Also how much I need =)

Thanks a million in advance

The Valvoline Dot 3-4 full synthetic is also what I use, quality brake fluid and will work well w/ your G. Get the 32 oz. quart and you'll have more than enough.

I used that stuff last year, already darkening less than a year later.

When I put the snow wheels on, I'll flush the system out again and use this:

It's pricier than the valvoline stuff but is OEM fluids for many german and euro cars. Better specs too wrt wet/dry boiling temps.

Are there instructions or a DYI for changing the brake fluid on a 2010 G37s coupe with the Akebono brakes?

I searched but could not find anything.

Thanks.

I am recommending Ate. It comes in blue and "clear" so you know when it has come through the lines so you alternate colors on changes. Use it for over a decade on my track and street cars. I have gone almost 4 years between changes on the street cars and no great noticeable loss in pressure. Motul is great but more $ and no optional color. Their slightly higher boiling point will never be met on the street unless your a bonehead. One quart will do a complete flush and then some.

Ate superblue is illegal to be sold in USA. Will give it a shot to the amber or clear one though.
Amazon has better price so far.
Trying to decide between motul and ate

It's not much different than doing the regular brakes. The bleed order is a bit different. I don't recall the exact order off hand but it is in the FSM.

It Took The US Government 15 Years To Realize This Brake Fluid Is Blue
Strange. I had just used my last bottle of blue. Apparently DOT has outlawed blue for street. Looking into possibility of getting it still.

I tried Amazon, eBay, several websites. They don't ship to US.
Never used it so I guess I won't miss it.
But the colors were cool to see if you did a full flush.
Will stick to valvoline synthetic dot 3&4.
