How to effectively clean your leather seats

Hi all, ive been cleaning the leather in ALL my cars using a very special trick and the outcome brings the leather back to how it was when it was new. its a simple 4 step procedure.

Needed:
4 Mr clean Magic Erasers
4 bowls of warm water
mcguires leather cleaner/conditioner
2 terrycloth towels

First step is to clean all the dirt off the leather with the first magic eraser, then move on to the second magic eraser with bowl #2, then #3, and finally when you get to #4 there shouldnt be much dirt left.

When the cleaning process is done, move on the the Mcguires, apply it generously on a terrycloth towel then wait about 2-3min until wiping it off with the dry towel and repeat for all the leather in the car, results will blow you away!

Im not sure how safe Magic Erasers are on leather....Id search around for opinions on that first.

The Leatherique system, although slightly expensive, works wonders and is perfectly safe

Magic Erasers are VERY abrasive. That is their "magic" for the most part.

I never had a problem with it on my seats...I do this at least once a month since i have beige seats and its a pain keeping them clean.

the trick is not to push down on the pad and scrub, you should be able to just pass over it and it would lift off the dirt/grime..

If you re doing it once a month, why not try something less aggressive?

Try some Woolite diluted with warm water. 10 parts water to 1 part Woolite. If thats not aggressive enough try more Woolite/less water.

So how do you apply the diluted woolite?
Is it just with a towel soaked in the diluted woolite?
And the towel just wiped over the leather seats?

Use a couple drops of 0ph soap in a spray bottle
Spray some of your mix down
Use a soft brush to create some suds on the seats, use a circular motion to lift the dirt off the seats.
Wipe the seats down with a micro fiber cloth
Seal/condition the seats with your favorite leather treatment(I use Connolly Hide Care Leather Conditioner).

WHAT EVER YOU DO PLEASE DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE USE MAGIC ERASERS ON LEATHER. ITS LIKE USING SAND PAPER TO CLEAN YOUR SEATS

I decided to try something different, i now use the zymol leather cleaner and leather conditioner (2 separate bottles) and its working pretty well...the conditioner is a bit sticky and has a funky smell but makes the leather super soft.

unknowndesi, I've been using magic erasers on all my previous cars' leather and never had a problem, you must however apply conditioner right after to keep the leather nice and moisturized.
