Nice, do you mind taking a photo from further back to see how it looks with the rest of the interior?

Hey I'm thinking about getting this shift **** for my 2010 G37X coupe 7AT. Any issues or problems with it so far? Does the stock boot fit right up with it and does the button engage well?

Just completed this mod. For those who can't figure out how to remove the silver collar, I feel your pain. It took a while but I figured it out. The leather must be stretched over the covered lip. Best way is to use a small flat head screw driver to leverage it over the lip and then walk it around. It's not easy but is very doable. Good luvk

Reviving this jem of a thread. Anybody else not willing to pay $160+ for the OEM shifter for our 7AT? Mine is looking a little worn and I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on this.

I'm with you. I'm definitely NOT going with the OEM G37 shifter since it'll just wear out again. I'll likely grab the M OEM Sport Shift.

Thanks, I was doing a little digging and found this. I'm just not 100% sure on the functionality of the Aftermarket shifters. I'd be pissed if the parking release button didn't work right each time or if the shifter "got loose" after a few months of use. Little things that would turn into BIG issues in my OCD mind.

not sure how well you know your dealership or if you warranty is up? But mine had some wear, took it to dealership and was replaced for free. Just ask, you never know til you try.
