It's in the FSM section covering seating. I' would post it for you but don't have access to my manual at the moment. If you have the Factory Service Manual, look there.

grab the bottom part and pull up mad hard, slide it out.

fold the backrest down, at the bottom of it theres a flap, flip it up and theres a bolt on each side.

are you looking to take these out temporarily or forever, cause you get maaddd noises with them out.

Sorry to thread jack OP but If I pull the bottom cushion out without removing the top section, would I have access to run wires under the carpet to the trunk?

^ very. You wan't save much. Are you tracking your car?

If you want to shave weight, start by replacing your front seats

Don't really like the 370. I love my G...just didn't know if there was a reason for the back seats.

I'm just going through a modding phase and I was trying to find small things to do to increase any performance at all.

The backseat doesn't weigh much, it won't add much to performance, nothing you would feel at least.

What are you current mods?

Only thing I got is a short intake but I'm about to put on a catback exhaust from Fast Intensions...If those count at all.

1) drag/autocross, whatever you do, without the spare + tools + passenger seat
2) buy a racing bucket for the drivers seat
3) go on a diet. :P
