Cordless impact wrench
i have the craftsman cordless impact gun and it have worked wonders for me. except for those times where the previous tech would use an air impact to tighten the lugs. all i had to do was take my breaker out and loosen the lugs a bit then use the craftman to unscrew it all the way.
best tool i have purchase so far

Thanks kevincat. That's what I initially wanted it for, mostly body/suspension/exhaust and not wheels.
I'll probably still end up getting one at some point. Do you have the exact model that I posted in post #1? If not which one?

Thanks for the link. I'll have to look into that compressor of yours. 3 gallons just doesn't cut it for me sometimes. How loud is it?
By the way, i took a short clip of the Craftsman busting loose a lug. The video will start playing after it's completely loaded.

yeah thats the exact one you posted. but i got mine from sears for the same price. and i picked it up the same day so no waiting for shipping. my girlfriend actually got me this along with the c3 impact driver and c3 drill and 2 batterys for a combo price. i dont remember the price but i know that i saved like 40 bucks off everything. i got to say that that was the best gift i ever received as i have been using those 3 things interchangeably from cars to house work.
i also bought some 1/4 3/8 and 1/2 sockets adapters for the impact driver and that has also been a tool of choice for auto works lately.
if you go to the sears website, you can see that the impact gun has a 4.8/5 stars from over 200 reviews.

That's the one I use as well. Paid for itself in spades when I did work on my Acura TL. Damn thing managed to snap a few bolt heads off here and there on me.
Do any of you guys use cordless impact wrenches? I'm considering buying one. I won't need it very often and don't want to invest a lot of money in a pneumatic one along with a compressor. Plus I like the convenience of cordless.
Give me your advice or info on them. I'm thinking about this one since I have plenty of these batteries already from my numerous other Craftsman cordless tools. Is 200 ft/lbs enough for general automotive work?
