Back-up Camera Videos - before & after
I finally got someone else to convert the proprietary DVD format to a Windows Media File and can now show the before and after videos.
First, I backed-up my driveway with the tinted factory reverse lights. You will see in this video it is very difficult to see anything on the monitor other than the guide lines. Even difficult to see the retaining wall that is very close to the car.
<embed width="448" height="361" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" src="http://i580.photobucket.com/player.swf?file=http://vid580.photobucket.com/albums/ss250/ML_Crisis/BeforeV-LEDS.flv">
And here is the same driveway after the V-LEDS license plate frame was installed. You can now see where you are going.

I have additional videos from above and from behind but they really are not that informative. From above without the V-LEDS it is all black; from behind with the V-LEDS the camera is somewhat blinded by the lights.
The V-LEDS license plate frame is a functional solution to a real problem.

More photos
I have a couple of other photos with and without the V-LED frame.
The first is with LED backup lights installed in the normal housing:
This is the same vehicle but with the V-LED lights on the license plate frame:
This is a different vehicle (Lexus) and more information is at their site:

Mid-Life Crisis, in the first shot are you using these LEDS V-LEDS HID WHITE 19 M-SMT 8W HIGH POWER BULBS ? Also, is this with tinted tails?

Do you mean the first shot in the last post? If so, this was not my vehicle so I'm not sure which LED was in the tails but the owner did mention the tails are tinted with 1 coat. If you follow the link to the Lexus site, there are more photos.
If you mean a different post, let me know which one and I'll try to answer.
