You have to disconnect the axle back and remove the front splash guard... YouTube it for details. Did mine at the same time as exhaust but it’s pretty straight forward

Hey guys, first post here, new to the forum. Anybody install Hotchkis sway bars on a G37s that is lowered 2"? Does that make it even tighter? Is that too tight? Does it effect it at all?

Thanks for any advice!

Thanks,
-Ethan

It should not affect install. My car is stock height so I can't speak from personal experience but the stiffer sway bars only come to effect when there is a difference in height from side to side. The stiffness of the sway bars come from the torsion or the twisting of the bar so keep each side at the same height and you shouldn't have any difficulties. If you're talking about a tight workspace, then idk.

How possible would it be to do the rear without removing the exhaust. I was under my car doing the front and noticed the bolts on my exhaust were rust welded to hell so I'm not super interested in having to deal with that.

Its extremely difficult. I was able to twist the rear bar out the first time after an hour. Don’t ask me how, it was sheer dumb luck and stubbornness. After that I found that dropping the rear axle back from the slip flange gave me the room I needed without all the extra drama.
