Seat cleaning recommendations
My leather drivers seat is dirty. I work in a shop and it is hard to get the dirt out of the seat. The Mothers leather cleaner conditioner does not do a good job of cleaning it.
Any suggestions????
Thanks

I'm partial to duragloss products and, while I think their leather cleaner works great, i'm inclined to switch to the big guns as leather cleaners tend to be pretty mild an not suited to do hard cleaning. If you have a real mess on your hands, it's ok to use a diluted all-purpose cleaner and a soft brush. Just use a good leather conditioner after.
I wouldn't save it as a last resort. Detailers use it all the time to clean coated leather seats. Get them clean then give them a good soak in leather conditioner. I think you'll be happy with the results.
the person who leased my car before me must have been the last person rocking Jheri curl as my headrests has greasy spots on them that would reappear days after wiping it down with a regular leather cleaner. Scrubbed with APC, let some duragloss conditioner soak into it, problem solved

I know it sounds crazy, but steam cleaning them can make a night and day difference. There are gobs of Youtube videos showing before and after. Plus, you can use the steam cleaner on your carpets, in your home, etc.

I use Lexol and the method described in the attached YouTube video.

Wont this method, mess up the heated seats?? And what about the holes?? wont water get in the holes???
I haven't had any problem however as with anything going overboard would create issues. What I do is wipe the seat with a cloth soaked in very warm water, spray the cleaner liberally on the seat, massage in by hand then wipe with a damp cloth. I go around the car and when I return to the first seat I apply conditioner, massage in and let it sit while I treat the other seats, then buff off excess.

I got some Lexol Cleaner and Conditioner. I rarely use it. I have only been using Meguiars Leather Conditioner. My leather isn't really dirty, even though I have the lightest color leather. Meguiars is good for a good price. I also like Surf City Garage.
I might have to try the woolite and some toothbrushes. I did buy some VLR on BF, haven't used it yet. My drivers side trim is dirty, want to clean it soon.
How about a Magic Eraser to clean with?
