Experienced detailers, does this guy knows what hes talking about? How to video

Not gonna lie. Im intrigued becuase it does look like an amazing job but i also dont know much about detailing and i know that in every job/hobby there is the basic knowledge that the masses know about, and the more detailed information that only true profressionals/hobbiest know about.
Would you say this is a good guide on how to detail your car and uses good quality products and info or is this pretty much the wikihow of videos?
I know theres lots of different types of waxes, some that are the traditional wax and others that are liquids in a small bottle etc

The power soaping is definitely a great way to do things. The more you can get suds in the mix the more cleaning power you add as well as lubricity to reduce scratching. This is a pretty good vid. I'd go through Ammo NYC on YouTube as well, especially if you like getting into the nitty gritty details. Great stuff.
