Wheel Restoration

How do you guys tend to handle scratches and curb rash on your rims? In the future I may replace my wheels, but for the time being I'm actually fairly happy with the stock Enkei 18s that came with the car - so I want to do what I can to keep them looking good!

Thoughts?

They even have mobile wheel repair vans that might be in your area, here's one example

One thing to make sure is that whoever refinishes the wheels does their best to ensure the structural quality. I've had friends get rims refinished and next thing they know one pothole and their rim is bent or cracked.

Hi

I just restore my OEM 19" Enkey wheels, for the moment it's not finish .

First picture OEM scratched Wheels, second picture wheel paint in black before paint in chrome effect like OEM.

I post later when paint is finish .

To prevent new thread clutter:

How did this work out? My new G has rash on the passenger side wheels (damn those NE granite curves!). Not super deep but enough to need filler when I do repair.
Any filler, paint, and/or finish recommendations?

Sadly I never pulled the trigger. Had some other unexpected expenses and most of my G37 projects have taken a back seat for now

I bought refinished OEM wheels on eBay for $151 ea, shipped. They look perfect. Costs $20/wheel to have them swapped.

Take your wheels down to OC to my boy Vivek @baidpolish. He refinished my nismo's and powdercoated gloss. Quality work at reasonable $$
