3M Paint Defender spray

This is good stuff if done properly and does it job protecting your paint. Its basically a spray film to protect from rock chips. It can be peeled off at anytime without any damage to your paint. I sprayed this on the front bumper as well as side mirrors. When freshly applied it looks cloudy and has a rough texture. But when dry its pretty much invisible. I didn't do a perfect job but the result is good enough for me. The kit comes with everything you need (tape, plastic cover, wax..)

I've seen others use it with mixed results. Definitely requires ***** to spray something directly onto the paint. haha
The end result looks pretty good though.

I don't really see any risk in it. If you screw it up just peel it off, no damage is done to the paint underneath. This already paid off for me on a Las Vegas trip, tons of bugs and rock chips and this protected the front end of my car.

No you are thinking about the 3M paint protection film or "clear bra". This is a spray on film that does the same purpose but it's much more temporary. it's only meant for about a year then needs to be peeled off. mine has been over a year and still looks invisible..

Yes..if you're going to try it, I suggest you to buy the one that says UV protected and you won't get the yellow shade
