All Weather Floor Mats

Hey guys I just bought a G37 and it's got the stock floor mats. I've looked into WeatherTech, as they make great products, but they only make floor mats for the Automatic trans. Infiniti makes all weather floor mats, but I wasn't sure if they were as good as the WeatherTechs. So does anyone have any recommendations for good floor mats? I have a 2008 Couple manual transmission.

I had the Infiniti all weather matts, much heavier duty than weather tech but they don't go up the sides like weather tech. So if you are extra messy or sloppy you will get all sort of comments here about the weather tech being supperior because of the sides. I contest you have to drag an awful lot of crap in for the OEM ones not to perform. I never had issues with OEM in the winter.

Get the Weathertechs. My wife dumped a 60oz "vat" of water yesterday and the Weathertech mats caught 90% of it. I've now banned her from eating or drinking in the car. Sheesh. I mean who needs a cup of water that big.

I've used the Weathertechs in my last three cars and they keep the carpets looking new. And they're fairly ridged with the higher sides as previously mentioned so they protect better than a flat matt. They're easy to get in and out too so if you do spill in there, you can just lift the whole matt out and dump out the fluid.

My only gripe is I have one pair of shoes that don't grip as well on the matts so my heel tends to slip backwards while on the accelerator. Otherwise, they're great.

I have the WeatherTechs in my 6MT. No issues at all. Go for it.

^ +1. bang on. the OEM mats are a great fir, well made and durable. not sure the tangible benefits of other styles, but to each his own. and OEM mats can be had for a great price if one shops around online. i paid ~$70 shipped back in 2010 for my set of 4, and they look almost as good as day 1 after 5 years of 5-month-a-year use. just shake them out at each car wash (every couple/few weeks) and you're good to go.

OP - there is no difference between the 7AT or 6MT mats. the G37 mats are universal between gearbox and body styles.
