Has anyone tried using a heat gun to remove wrinkles in leather seats?

Has anyone tried using a heat gun to remove wrinkles in leather seats?

I just came up on a video where this guy used a heat gun and was wondering if anyone has tries it.

I hear that it will only provides a temporarily solution and make the leather dry even more.

You need leatherique. Cover and work in extremely thoroughly into your seats.

And then you need to cook your interior with non a/c heat. It MUST be non a/c.
You need maximum moisture for the leatherique to work itself in.

Leather is tough to recondition but I know it's gonna sound funny but I used Nivea hand cream on a spot in the leather before over and let the sun tighten the leather. This wasn't on the Infiniti seats but leather seats I got out of a wreck for another car. It had a noticeable indentation from a part sitting on the seat that I wanted to soften and stretch... It worked great. Not 100% but 95% like new.

I've had good success with this method and it's more gentle with less room for error.
