When I use to buy nice car cleaning products I would use some expensive metal polish but I have used toilet bowl cleaner in the black bottle and it works outstanding!

Mothers chrome polish is good too. Since they are polished tips they will shine...use it all the time and its reasonably priced

mothers Mag and aluminum polish w/ power cone followed by a hand polish with mothers billet brings a very deep shine out of anything raw aluminum. If they aren't chrome they will look like it afterwards.

Eagle One "Never Dull" Metal polish / cleaner. Sold at Advanced auto. That stuff is magic. I used it on my car then tried it on the Full Titanium pipes on my GSXR 1000. It brings tired looking metal back to life!

So steel wool, even 0000, doesn't put tiny micro scratches in the finish?

This and steel wool. Then use a microfiber cloth to wipe off after glaze then use a clean one to shine it up.

Degreaser and steel wool or sos pad to clean, then Neverdull to polish. Use never dull on my Stillen CAI too. Awesome stuff.
