After heavy polishing what is better to use between wax or sealant?

The question can't be answered as easily as it was asked. Technically:

Heavily polishing requires lighter polishing then wash and IPA wipedown.

Sealant and wax are different. Can't always mix and match well. Better to pick one based on your need and preferences, then QD wipedown between layers.

Best short answer possible without asking lots more questions.

Wax is natural. Sealant is not. Wax will add more brilliance vs a sealant. However, it will not protect the paint as long. I prefer the protection of the sealant.

IW 845 can protect longer then some sealants

I think you mean collinite 845. And indeed the insulator is some good stuff. Dirty cheap as well. I use that on my father's boat every year.

But I'd still rather wipe on wipe off sealant.

Yes, Collinite insulator wax 845. Cheap, easy on, easy off and protect for months.

sealants also protect formonths... 6ish months.
