I just got my shipment info updated this morning so now it's scheduled for delivery next week instead of next month. Gotta love Amazon!

Can anyone recommend a good backing plate and pad set? It seems the general consensus is that orange and white pads are the most resourceful (for the average polishing job anyway).

 

Is this definately worth spending the 93$ on? i've always taken my car to the local carwash place etc for waxing and everything. I don't mind doing it on my own ( never did ) just didn't have all the tools will this pretty much cover everything?

 

correct the orange and white are used mostly for polishing and finishing. i usually use the blue pads(softest) for wax and sealants. here are a few links to detailed image where i get all my stuff:
