Hello,

I am trying to figure out what type of wheel degreaser to use for my allow wheels. I am not sure whether there is clear coat on it so I'm not sure if certain products may ruin the wheel or not. In either case, what are some degreaser products that are effective and work great? Thank you.

I just use a separate bucket with a little bit meg's gold class. Works fine and wont harm the wheels. Been using it for years.

 

95% of OEM wheel surfaces have a clear coat finish applied. To distinguish bare (no clear coat) aluminium, by using a metal polish will turn the cloth black; otherwise they probably have a clear coat paint finish There are a verity of non-OEM wheel designs and surface finishes available
