Subject: 11 Audi S4 Monsoon Gray

Requirements - New Car Prep - Clear Film Installation - Full Hood, Full Fenders, Full Bumper

What was done -
Exterior

- Wheels were prepped with Sonax Wheel Cleaner and cleaned up with various brushes
- Tires were spritzed down with Adam’s All Purpose Cleaner and washed down
- Wheel wells were cleaned up
- Pre Washed with W99
- Iron Cut
- Wash down and rinsed
- Door jambs were cleaned up
- Clayed
- Dried
- Tires dressed
- Masking
- Paint Measurement
- Wolf's Shine and Seal
- Inspection with Fenix, 3m Sun Gun, Infratech, and natural sunlight
- Wheel wells were cleaned
- Rubber and Plastics Treated
- Exterior windows and mirrors cleaned and sealed
- Exhaust tips cleaned
- Windows were clayed, cleaned, and sealed

the items wrapped were

full hood, full fenders, full bumper, headlights.

things not wrapped, mirrors, doors, roof, trunk, rear bumper, rear fenders.

which film is that? is that ventureshield? given the state of my G's rock chips... I really wish I had wrapped it...

I feel your pain. I'm in the same boat. Really regret it and now have all these dimples on the front bumper. It looks terrible in the sunlight.

this was venture.

yeah its tough when you first buy a new car spend a ton of money on it then have to spend more to protect it, its a lot of money up front and it's hard to justify it. this is usually what happens a year down the line most regret not doing it.

its happened to me as well.

so what was the paint condition when you were cleaning it? I would imagine there had to be some imperfections on a 2011 that needed to be corrected before putting on the film?


damn tho.. this is so pretty. I'm sooo going full venture shield on my next car.

That is what I wrapped on my IPL with the addition of the mirrors, a piece below the trunk opening and finally the A-pillars and let me tell ya...MONEY WELL SPENT!!!
