Do you have Clear Bra installed?

Hey fellow G37 owners!

I just recently installed Clear Bra and tint on my 2011 GS 6MT IPL and was wondering what kind of clear bra you guys have on your cars.

I went with Avery Denison Nano Fusion. It is very nice material and IMO looks better and stronger than 3M. (no offense to those with 3m)

I paid 940 with tax for the clear bra and 260 with tax for the ceramic tint.
How much did u guys pay?

Also the installer told me never go to car wash and I must hand wash the car every time. Have any of you guys risked going to the car wash?

What kind of car wash solution should I use?

Is waxing necessary to protect the clear bra?

Any good wax brands you guys would recommend?

Sorry for all the questions and your feed back is greatly appreciated!

Avery really makes a good film now with their Nano Fusion line. I have been isntalling it more and more lately as it is in more demand. I still have to use VentureShield Ultra for full panel wraps because Avery only comes in rolls up to 48". I always recommend using a good sealant with paint protection film. Zaino works well and there are a few other polymers out there that will do great. just wash it as you normally do and occasionaly apply a sealnt to it. Frequency depends on how much you are driving it and how often you are getting bugs and grime on it. The mroe often it gets filthy the more often I would use the sealant. I use it weekly on mine but I show my films on my vehicle so it neds to stay as clean as possible. I would say with Nano Fusion once a month would be fine. In the winter if there are more road salts and chemicals where you live I would apply it more often.

By the way a power wash is fine just dont hold the noxxle at the edges of the film.

WOW thats a lot! i have the 3M and it works great! I use to run it threw the wash all the time. But now i am lowered and i will not fit but i never had a problem with a wash. I paid $275 for my clear bra and $175 for my 3M tint. I really shopped around.

Had 3M on my last car (accord coupe). Decided on Xpel with the G purely based on complaints of yellowing from others. It was about twice as much at $700. No problems with either, other than having to take both back to the installers to have the edges fixed. I think it helped out big time with the trade in of the accord. More than paid for itself with the difference between excellent vs fair trade in value.

Funny Story. I checked the dealers website which had a "one simple price" and they were selling it for more than I paid brand new. Sold for $20,900 with 27000 miles. I bought it new from them for $20,500.
