F#@king hail storm!!

Hail storm blew through last night, my car looks like someone went over it with a bat! Must have 50-75 rings over the hood, roof, trunk and right side. There are so many dings I think it may be cheaper to replace the hood rather than message them out. Will find out Monday when the adjuster comes by to assess the damage. Including a couple of pics but they don't really capture the damage.

I'm glad I don't live in a place that gets severe weather. I do try to have a hail-condition-red plan at work though.

Ok guys... got the pics up but they don't really do the damage justice. You have to rock your head back and fourth acrossed the reflection of the paint to get the full scope of the damage.
Total count by panel,
Hood - 24
Roof - 23
Trunk - 10
Rt rear Qt- 12
Pass door - 4
Pass fender - 2
Left Rear Qt - 3
Grand Total = 78 dings

I live in Upstate New York, we never get weather quite like this... maybe pea size hail once in a while but this was caused by golf ball size bastards!!

I saw it coming and got myself into the garage. That definitely sucks. It was one of the craziest storms I've ever seen. Hurricane-like power and knocked out power here in some parts of CT for over 24 hours so far.

Wow that definitely blows. Where in Upstate NY are you? My car was outside yesterday here in MD when a pretty nasty storm blew through. It was dropping pea sized hail for about 5 mins... guess I was lucky it wasn't any bigger.

yeah, if you find the hail may be big and cant get the car into a covered area, get towels and blankets and put on the car. When I had my maxima in an outside area, i used a blanket and the trunk mat on the roof to prevent the hail damage. My roommate at the time thought i was stupid but his car got pelted with over 100 dings and I had ZERO.

Sucks this happened to you. Hope it will be fixed to like new condition.
