So...bad start to a busy week. I scratched my OEM 19 inch rim trying to park at a corner spot and be as far away from the next spot as possible, to avoid potential door dings.

All you detailing Gurus out there, please let me know what I can do to fix it.
I plan to fix it myself, I am thinking sanding the roughs down, and primer+paint it.
So my question to you is..
1. what should I use to sand it down?
2. where can I find color matching paint?
3. would you suggest some other method to fix it?

I am relieved that the scratch wasn't deep. I realized right after my rim touched the curb, could be a lot worse.

Ah, the things we screw up on our own, attempting to keep everyone from screwing it up for us. Bummer.

 

Had an issue with one of our wheels when we bought our car. Check with your dealership. I'll bet they have someone that can fix it.

 

Well, my dealership has Enkei reps that comes in everyday for wheels warranties.. but I don't think this will be covered.. I am trying to fix it myself..Currently I found this.

I had curbed mine a while ago. Look up Alloy Wheel Repair. They are nationwide and they'll have a rep close to you, just plug in your zip code. You make an appointment and you meet the guy and he'll repair it while you wait. They do fantastic work. Based on your pic I would guess that will be around $100.
