bird poop

my paint is disfigured and looks blotchy in one spot due to bird poop which has been on for a few days. i can visibly see that the paint is damaged. is there any product that may be able to fix this?

Im just being a smart azz but your best bet for products is prayer and throwing away your contacts. Welcome to infiniti "self healing" paint...absolutely terrible. My car got bird attacked as well, my best advice to you, before the professional detailers get on here and give you products to use, is start looking into purchasing a buffer

Bird droppings are often acidic and can easily etch in to the clear coat. To remove it you should try to polish the area. Start off with a light polish and use more aggressive ones as needed. The Meguiar's Ultra Finishing Polish M205 is a great starting point and move up to the
Meguiar's Ultra-Cut Compound M105 if need be. Apply a few drops to a foam applicator and use medium to firm pressure and then buff off the excess with a clean microfiber towel. If this does not work you'll need the added power of a buffer with the same polishes. Hope this info helps!

I'm not under the impression that 3M offers any sort of "cut" when used, it seems to be just a gloss. I don't think it would really help, but you could try?

I've always had luck with light polishes on bird poop marks, should really give it a shot.

3M Iperial Hand Glaze; as its name suggests is a glaze (filler) that masks scratches, it is to all intends and purposes non-abrasive and therefore cannot correct scratches etc

Good call on the bird poo causing damage to the clear coat. I was always told, as dumb as it sounds, its one of the worse things to leave on your car without watching quickly.
