I came out during lunch to check out my car. A bird had just crapped from the trunk all the way to the front windshield. Luckily I caught it before it ate into the clear coat.

This is on black paint, in direct sunlight. Having a microfiber in the trunk along with a bottle of final inspection saved my day!

 

Tell you what! I just had multiple bird droppings on my G37x coupe these few days ! 2 on hood, 2 on rooftop!!! Problem is the poops dried out and baked before I discover them. Now I am all heart broken since the poops ate in the clear coat. OMGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG.

 

yep I always keep bug/tar cleaner and a MF towel in my car and every time I get out I wipe the front down cause the bugs here in the south are HORRIBLE lol

 

Lucky for me my car is garaged at home and wrk !!! But I keep micro towel and quick detailer in trunk anyway

 

I could be in a parking lot with no trees anywhere and a gull would fly over and poop on my '05 G sedan. That really taught me to keep detailer and some microfiber in the trunk. Going on 3 weeks with my new G and so far no poop, even when I park under a tree. I wonder if color has anything to do with it? My other G was gray, my new one is black. Are birds discriminating? LOL!

 

Just be careful cause I've kept a bottle of detail spray in my trunk but it gets hot back there and makes the spray smell a little funky!

 

I keep DP Waterless Wash in my trunk cargo net with MF towels.
