I really hope to not have to take the tips off.
I'm going to try to polish/sand them myself on the bottom with a brass or steel pad and hope that works.
I've been calling machine shops in the area and they all say to bring it in to take a look, so I don't know...

Maybe you can try polishing pads that are used to apply sealant/wax.

The abrasive is in the polish. A microfiber towel would be fine because the polish compound is what is doing the work, not the towel.
A powerball is just a quicker way but it's also got it's downfall. You have to keep the thing lubed up (lots of polish) and keep it moving around. I have a couple different size powerballs but I don't like using them very much. I'd just used a microfiber poshing pad and a lot of elbo grease.
I should take the "GReddy" off the side as well.

Update: I dropped the exhaust off at a polisher today. He was able to get the blue off with this 15 horsepower buffer
The only concern that I have is that he may not be able to save the Greddy logo. I told him if part of it got messed up to just buff off the whole logo Not the ideal but having the blue off is my priority.
I should have it back by Friday or Saturday
