Best products to apply and remove wax or sealant

What are the best products to apply and remove a wax or sealant (by hand)? Sponge applicator to apply and microfiber pad to remove?

Softest foam applicator you can find to apply. MF towel with 50/50 IPA to wipe it down to strip all wax or sealant.

Foam applicators work best to apply, as Black Betty mentioned. One of my favorites is actually the LC Red Foam Applicator for pastes, however the yellow foam Detailed Image Applicators work very well also, and I prefer them for liquid sealants as they absorb less product.

A plush MF towel. I prefer the ones that have a really thick nap on one side and a shorter nap on the other.
