Porter Cable 7424 XP In Stock, Ready to Ship

Porter Cable has just released their latest version of the 7424, the Porter Cable 7424 XP. The 7424 XP has increased power, bumping their motor from 3.7 amps to 4.5 amps and increased the OPMs from 6,000 to 6,800. This will allow for breaking down polishes more effectively and removing more imperfections. The 7424 XP also has better ergonomics, such as better dial placement, and improved the on/off switch to be more reliable.

Porter Cable 7424 XP stands behind the improved reliability by offering a 3 year limited warranty, 1 year free service and a 90 day money back guarantee.

Be sure to check out our Porter Cable 7424 XP Packages for additional savings when you pick up a backing plate and pads:

Porter Cable 7424 XP 6.5" Basic Kit
Porter Cable 7424 XP 6.5" Kit
Porter Cable 7424 XP 6.5" Advanced Kit

If anyone has any questions on anything or needs a hand selecting any products, please do not hesitate to ask.

Cheers,

George

Don't you already have an older PC and Flex? How many cars do you own and detail BB so that you need 3 buffers???

In all seriousness, I look forward to your review...

I sold my PC when I bought the Flex. I regretted it almost immediately. Although the Flex is far superior in every way, I shouldn't have gotten rid of the PC. I used the 4" pads on the PC more than I realized. Now I will get another one. Yes, I probably need a detailing intervention.

But to be fair, I've been know to detail a few other cars for cash besides Betty.

Be sure to keep us posted on what you think when you get a chance to use the new PC7424XP compared to the regular PC7424. Should be a solid upgrade.

Enjoy!

I felt the same way, the PC is much easier and fun to use. The flex heats up in minutes and I always get burnt.

So, I will probably sell my Flex and pick up this new PC real soon. Especially for the increase in power, 4" pads and I can use the shampoo brush attachment on it. 2 in 1 purpose.

The main unit (without backing plate and pad) is 4.77 lbs I believe. It's a few ounces lighter than the regular PC 7424. The new buffer is slightly longer and wider, but not as thick around.

If you have any other questions on anything, please do not hesitate to ask.

Cheers,

George
