I finally got a chance to look at the pictures before work tonight. Speechless. How many man-hours did you have in that thing?

So, let's figure this out. Your typical quality paint and body shop rate is going to be at least $65-$75 per man hour for labor (a dealer is near $100). But let's say you're a starving artist struggling for work and you would pimp yourself out at a fraction of the cost at $50/hour. With 10 hours of work, you're looking at $500 just in labor.

I'm just posting this because most people have no clue of the time and effort it takes to buff and polish paint.

Apparently he didn't stop to think of what his sister is going to have to do to "pay" for his detail. Make it count.

Oh no you didn't!!! I was going to go there but I bit my tongue (hard). But now that the subject has been brought up... Do you have any idea what the guy's doing to your sister? Obviously, he had no time to keep up with the truck, right? I'm just saying...

No, you have it all backward. Gamedog's GF's brother is the truck owner, not his sister's BF!

Either way, I think after so much debate that noodz of the GF/sister are now in order.

Oh, I get it now. So actually, the brother really doesn't owe David anything since he already ponied up the sister. I'm on track now (sorry, I was still sleeping, damn nightshift).
