I haven't used the Fade 2 Black yet. I was going to try it on some tires first, then maybe the engine bay on my work truck.

Kevin, excellent work on the detail! Truly looks show car worthy. I see that you said you may use the Fade 2 Black on your tires. Certainly give it a shot, but I've had not so good luck with it on my tires. I find it's an exceptional product in the engine bay and in making your wheel wells look jet black. Let me know what you think of it and how you used it when you get a chance.

Congrats on the detail, looks stunning, now to keep it that way!

George

Thanks George. I'll give that Fade 2 Black a try on my work truck. That's the nice thing about having four cars, if I want to try something I always have something to sacrific. For tires, I really like the matte black finish and I haven't found anything I like better than Black Magic Titanium Matte Tire Finish. In one of those last three orders I also bought some Blackfire tire gel and I'm going to give that a try as well. I can't tell you how much I love that 303 Aerospace Protectant. That works awesome on Her G37.

People on here seem to use flex with no problem, I don't think it damages our paint...I think that is lol, hopefully not since i just purchased one

Amazing difference, very nice.
I bought my G in Denver and drove it to Omaha. It wasn’t until we washed it a few times that we notice the scratches in the paint. We bit*hed enough that the dealership had Infiniti Customer Care fix them. Mine were not nearly as bad as yours though, wow.

I would be very careful and practice with the flex on something other than the G. Some experienced guys might not have a problem at all using the Flex, but that's where the experience come in.

Maybe that's the route I should have taken but I knew I was doing this before we even got the car.
