Thanks!

This towel and the Stoners Invisible Glass are going to be hard to beat. Waffle weave is a type of MF towel I believe.

The waffle weave is a MF, but "different" if that makes sense. It is absolutely the best drying towel I have ever used. I wash near the end of the day and can dry the car with 1-2 towels after a sheet rinse.

So if the waffle weave is better for drying, when should I apply the regular MF towel? Right now I'm using ONR with 1 bucket, sheepskin hand cloth, and then using 2-3 MF towels to dry the particular area. Is that ok?

Thanks!
As others mentioned, a waffle weave is still made of microfiber, but what you'll notice is some microfiber is good at absorbing water and others are not. This towel is specifically designed to absorb water and the waffle texture / pattern helps pull contamination away from the surface as you're drying to help minimize adding imperfections. Comparing it to a flat surfaced chamois, it's the way to go for your drying needs. Pair it up with using the sheeting method and drying your car is a breeze and can shave off some time during the wash process.

For windows, waffle weave towels work very well, but these are pretty large, so they may not be your best option. Typically what I'll do for glass is use 3 towels, 2 all purpose microfiber towels and a glass specific microfiber towel with a low nap. Using one of the MF all purpose towels, mist your glass cleaner into the towel (most people over use glass cleaners which leads to streaks) and clean your glass. Using the 2nd all purpose MF towel, wipe away any excess product and try to use slow wiping motions while exerting some pressure to the glass. Finally, to ensure your windows are streak free, using some pressure and slow wipes, do this with the low nap glass microfiber towel.

Thanks again guys. Let me know if there's anything else I can help with.

George

^+1! I just made my first purchase from DI last week and bought 2 waffles, 3 regular MFs, ONR, two of the Lake Country blue grout sponges, and some Optimum instant detailer. Washing my car with the ONR and two buckets, using the sponges to wash and waffles to dry, gave me amazing results! And I could do the whole thing in my garage because it's freezing outside.

George, you definitely won me over as a new customer!!

FMJ 32oz is just the bottle only, no app or microfiber towel. Considering you get twice as much FMJ for only $10 more, you're better off buying a higher quality app and towel separately with the 32oz size.

Not many vendors have to apoligize for shipping too fast.
