Dusty Cars

Hey guys.

I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on cleaning dusty cars.

Here's my problem...
1) I wash my car.
2) Dust starts covering up my car in 2-4 days (no rain).
3) Then when it rains (happens alot in Seattle), the water brings all that dust on my car to the back of my car. I'm guessing the sealant makes it very easy for the dust to slide to the back of my car with the help of the water. So now the back of my car is a total mess where all the other parts of my car is still looking pretty clean.

Is there any daily cleaning solution or process I can do to remove all the dust off my car? Some recommended using quick detailing sprays with clean MF towels while I'm not sure if they are meant to do that. Any suggestions would help.

Thanks,
Jason

... No offense but I'd never use one. Cali Car Dusters will scratch your paint in a heartbeat.

Personally my recommendation would be to wash it. You are asking for problems by a duster, quick detailer, etc.

Interesting...never heard of this product. Does anyone have experience using this? It looks like a paint scratcher to me.

I was thinking about doing weekly washes using ONR w/ bug squash for the back. I'm guessing there's no real good alternative to remove dust safely.

ONR is fine to use in this case.

Jesus people, get over yourselves. the Cali duster, when used properly, is perfect.

I detailed my car about 3 weeks ago removing 95% of visible swirls. I've since used my Cali duster numerous times with no affect on paint quality.

don't go full retard with it and bear down on the paint with it. you're supposed to lightly brush it across the paint to remove the layer of dust.

seriously, people are such fair weather fans... try it and see.

I got the Cali duster and use it on my BO on occasion. No scratchy..
I admit it looks like a shaggy scratch maker, but no problem...

I love my california car duster. Been using them for about 12 years. The older they are, the better they work.

Well the dust accumulation is not from parking in the garage. It's when I drive my car on a non-rainy day.
