tiny white specs on steering wheel

what the hell is this? I just noticed it today. they're pretty much exactly where my hand rests to drive most of the time, I've only had the car a month though, so there's no way its already showing wear...if so, that's pathetic...doesn't have a raised feel at all, and didn't rub up with wet finger....

looks like paint. Try some Goo Gone or WD40. Should come right off.

Possibly overspray that is in the air. I have had very tiny flecks of white appear on my steering wheel and on the top of my inside doors where your arm would rest. Sometimes, it's not really stuck on and I typically can remove it by taking a little 409 and a soft tooth brush and brushing the areas. Often it gets stuck in the natural grooves and pits of the leather and plastic molded pieces.

No. Just don't leave it there. Pam cooking spray works to remove adhesives too.
