Some dealers have their own automatic car wash machines.
Never use that, I always tell the service guy that I never want to get a car wash done in the dealer. Maybe I am too picky but, everytime, they caused scratches.

Thats a step up from what I have seen. usually I see a guy with a water pressure gun that sprays the car then takes a microfiber or super shammy type towel. And voila complimentary car wash.
You will still see streaks or patches of dirt in places.

the 3x3 i place on the nav screen the 6x6 i place on the dashboard. took the G in for an oil change the other day and the service adviser said "you are serious about this no wash thing huh?"

i am picky too. lol.

Ha. Depending on where you are located you might want to revise that placard into multi languages like the DMV just for good measure.

I wouldn't single it out to just an Infiniti dealership. EVERY stealership does a great job at swirling.

I know the feeling.. the dealer messed mine up, and I made them repair it.. they ended up sending me to a body shop, and the hood had to be repainted. It was HORRIBLE. It took two trips before I accepted the correction.

..gotta love black paint. I refuse to let anyone touch my car now.

Not just a dealership, any service provider - tire store, valet, parking lot attendant, most detailers. They don't care that you might take pride in how your car performs and looks.

Glad this was brought up, I didn't even think about the fact that they would try to put my car through the swirl machine when I get service done. I'll be sure that they don't wash mine!

stealership that so funny!! lol
anyways, after reading this i am both shocked and kinda confused; i just got my G37 coupe a month ago and my first free service (oil change and checkup etc) is in august/september. IF the service department of infiniti (where i got my car) did anything to mess up my car even one lil scratch etc, i would not just be mad and drive away; omfg that is unheard of!!!! idk what's going on but that is just ridiculous
