Man this paint is soft!

I didn't really didn't get just how soft the clear is until today. I ran my fingernail (lightly mind you) to test a scratch and ended up putting scratches on the car. Then to top it off i tried some spay detailer and clean microfiber to remove the dust in the area and the dust caused scratches!!!!!

This is normal for an OB paint!?

I guess you don't have the new self healing paint? I guess that doesn't come out until next year.

Shumby has a new '09 BO(NOT OB!!!!) up there in the land of frozen ********* and he likes to drive it hard and put away crashed, so we should know from him how this self healing clear will work. Might have to wait until spring though for the stuff to flow
