I just bought a cheap Chicago brand high speed polisher. for only $40

I'm not sure if its similar to the PC and if the pads offered by detailed image would work for this.
can someone tell me where i can find a brush tip for carpets, and regular polishing pads that would work for thistype of machine?

BE VERY CAREFUL!!! If you haven't use one before, I'm not sure I would. Hi-speed buffers can quickly burn through your clearcoat if you don't know how to use them. In addition, if you are not consistent, they can "halogram" your paint as well.
Personally, I'd recommend you purchase a random orbital buffer like the PC7424.

The buffer you picked up comes with a 7" Hook & Loop backing plate, which would work, except the largest pad we offer is 6.5". It'd be dangerous for your paint to use a pad smaller than the backing plate. The threading of your buffer should work with the rotary backing plates we offer, so it'd just be a matter of picking up our 6" rotary backing plate for you to utilize our 6.5" Lake Country Pads we offer. If you're just starting out with the rotary, you may want to consider investing in some 4" pads as well, here's a link to our 4" rotary buffer pad kit. With rotary buffers, the smaller the pad the easier it is to finish down without damaging paint or leaving holograms behind.
If you have any other questions while learning the tricks of using a rotary, please do not hesitate to ask.
