Car got egged. What should I do?
Well, I don't know when it happened but it was between Monday night and this morning (Wednesday) so I'm unsure how long it was baking on the car.
Washed the car off this afternoon and the egg left a shadow on the paint. How do I get rid of it? I have very limited resources here at school (no garage, orbital, or access to a professional detailer) so how do I get rid of the shadows? I won't be able to get it professionally detailed until I go back home in December since someone told me that polish should get it out but I'm not sure if I need to do something immediately or if it will be fixable in 2 months. I don't have any pictures but I'll take some tomorrow

First off, I would have called the police and got a police report. It is very possible that your clear coat is damaged.
Are you sure you got all the egg off an the "shadow" isn't just baked on egg? Try this... Take a mixture of clothes detergent like Tide and mix up a very detergent heavy solution in HOT water. Take that rag and soak it in the HOT water / detergent mix and place on those spots. Let them sit for a few minutes. You'll need to wash the car and since you are using a detergent, you'll need to polish and get a good coat of wax back on the car. Why detergent? I hear it contains enzymes or something that will help remove the protein stains from the paint. Never tried it, but heard it has worked for some people.
Don't Forget Though... You'll need to get some wax back on the car.

i wouldn't use rubbing compound. clean it, wax it, and leave it alone until you can get a professional to take care of it. if you run your fingernail across it and cant feel it catch, you may be o.k.. if the clear coat has been eaten through, there are fewer options. buffing may work if it hasn't gone all the way throught the clearcoat. if its worse than that, there's not much else than getting a bodyshop to respray.
