What Happened?
I just went to the carwash, and when i came out there was steam coming out of the front frille. The owner was walking by as i stopped and opened the hood and he said that it may have just been the radiator that got wet. Has anyone else ever had this problem? Is it just that the radiator got wet or do i have bigger problems?
I would not take it to a car wash. If you really like this car, which by the fact you're here I'd think so.. Learn how to do it properly and do it yourself.

Use a rinseless wash product like ONR or QEW in the colder months, they work great. I do a full detail on my G twice a year, once in the spring and once in the fall. I did a full detail on my G just last weekend and that will be it until around April or so.
1. Recycled water - yes, but whats wrong with that ?
2. they do do a great job in the winter, not as good as a 'hand-job'. lol
3. no damage to the wheels if you go to the ones that you drive through yourself.
4. I think the bottom line is conveinence, the main issue is it does a good job rinising the salts off.
If anyone chooses to not to take the advice we give here, please be considerate and don't post messages like "my paint is messed up, i have swirls, infiniti paint sucks". Detailing professionals like myself invest alot of time in helping people on the forum understand how to properly maintain your car and there is no reason for anyone to provide scientific proof.
