Professional Review: Migliore Primo

Here is a review off of another forum. This review was done by a professional detailer located in California. The review speaks for itself.

Regards,

Make sure if you use it you have some quick detailer with you. Overall result is absolutely amazing. The detail took about 6 hours. 2 hours of that, I was drooling looking at the paint. I had one guy try and buy the car right there on the spot it looked so good. Two other neighbors stopped by wanting to know more on how I got it to shine so much. I am stoked about this detail. Primo really came through. Ok, so enough rambling, how bout some pics.....

I have a feeling this will take up 2 posts:crazy:

Starting out with a VW GLI 1.8T with some extra mods. Thing is ****ing sick. The owner washes it about 1x a week, so it stays fairly clean, but we recently had a dirty rain come though.

Starting out:

Cleaned up the engine bay some:

And after.... This picture I tried NOT to get a reflection....

and the rest of the car.... Keep in mind most of these pictures were taken with overcast and very little light. It still managed to shine like crazy though.

Tried out the new rotary a little bit. Just for the glaze though so I could get a feel for it. You can see it in this pic.

and then you can see the PC in this one:

Sun finally came out so I snapped some more:

and probably my favorite pic:

The depth of the paint was incredible. It really had me drooling.

A paste wax is a harder blend of wax that usually lasts longer as well. Paste waxes are applied with a foam or microfiber pad. The primo jar is huge, it should last you a couple years.

I would highly looking into purchasing Primo.

how do you compare primo's appearance, since pictures of different waxes all look the same, it's whats in person that counts.

Is it deep and wet looking. Or is it vibrant/give off a carnauba glow?

Shiny/reflective?

Since these are variables are all subjective, I'll give my personal opinion. I find Primo to produce a VERY wet looking surface, dripping wet, as well as deep paint.

I have to disagree though that all wax pictures look the same. With that said here is an example, I posted this picture in a previous thread. This is from Primo on one of my personal vehicles. IMO you can see an amazing amount of depth and "wetness" in the photo.

where it looks great, it doesn't look any different than most other pictures I see on auto detailing websites. I'm sure it stands out while in person.
